About LPAC

Welcome to the Lincoln Park Archery Club. Although we use Chicago Park District land set aside specifically for archery, we are a semi-private club. The semi-private nature of our club is necessary so we can keep the archery range safe for all archers, and for the many people around it whose park we share. This is why we insist that all archers who come out to use the range when we are shooting shoot with us and observe the rules of safe archery. The Chicago Park District and the Lincoln Park Archery Club regulations prohibit the use of hunting arrows (broadheads), and crossbows.

Throughout the year, Lincoln Park Archery Club participates in tournament shoots with other Chicago Park District Archery Associations Clubs. Shooters are classified according to their shooting style and capability. Shooting styles are:
» Barebow (BB); FITA
» Freestyle Limited (LTD)
» Freestyle Unlimited (UNL)

We actively solicit new members for the Lincoln Park Archery Club. If you are interested in archery, we invite you to come out and shoot with us. We are happy to instruct newcomers to the sport of archery and can give you advice on purchasing equipment.

If you have any questions about archery and the Lincoln Park Archery Club, please visit with us at the range or call a club member. Please call first to ensure that the range will be open during your intended visit.
